EPIC Bharat Terms and Conditions

  1. This Contest is the #Epic Inaam Pratiyogita (“Contest”) on the channel Epic Bharat (“Channel”).
  2. The Contest will be organized by IN10 Media Private Limited (operating under the brand name of ‘The Epic Company’) (“TEC”).
  3. The promotions for the Contest will be displayed on the Channel at times determined by TEC.
  4. The Participant agrees and confirms that they have read, understood and by participating in the Contest they accept the terms and conditions stated herein.
  5. TEC reserves the right to change the terms and conditions, including extend, withdraw, modify or cancel the Contest, and/or the selection process, and/or the Prize/Gratification (as stated hereunder) and/or number of winners and/or mechanism of the Contest etc., at any time without prior notice.
  6. The employees of TEC and/or its family members and/or its friends shall not participate in the Contest.
  7. The Contest is open to all participants above the age of 18 (eighteen) years of age. TEC is entitled to call for supporting valid documents in relation to the age of the participant such as Aadhar Card, Passport or Birth Certificate.
  8. TEC reserves the right to disqualify the shortlisted participants at any time, if TEC is of the opinion that the details and/or documents provided by the shortlisted participants is not to the satisfaction of TEC. TEC’s decision in this regard shall be final and TEC shall not entertain any questions and/or communications in relation to the same.
  9. The viewers can participate in the Contest by scanning the QR code or by sending a message on WhatsApp number 8657535405, as displayed on the Channel and send “Hi/Namaste”. Later, the participants will receive a prompt from the WhatsApp chatbot to select the correct answer. Participants must submit their answer through the chatbot to successfully participate in the Contest.
  10. To participate in the Contest, the participant needs to be residing in India during the Contest period.
  11. Multiple entries shall be considered.
  12. The winner’s photo, name, state and city will be showcased on the Channel.
  13. The winner shall be selected by a lucky draw from the list of all the participants. By participating in the Contest, each participant expressly acknowledges and agrees that merely participating in the Contest does not guarantee selection as a winner. Participants further agree that they shall not dispute, challenge, object to, or raise any claim, complaint, or concern whatsoever regarding the selection process, evaluation criteria, or the final decision of the Company.
  14. The selection of the winner shall be at the sole discretion of TEC. However, TEC reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of winners at its sole discretion.
  15. The winners will be eligible to receive a prize; however, the selection, distribution and nature of the prize will be at the sole discretion of TEC (“Prize”).
  16. The announcement of the winner’s Prize shall take place on the Channel and the Prize will be delivered to the winners within 2 (Two) months from the date of winner’s announcement. However, in the event any delay in the delivery of the Prize to the winners beyond the said period of 2 (Two) months for any reason whatsoever, TEC shall not held responsible and/or liable for the same and no legal action shall lie against TEC, its affiliates and/or their employees etc. TEC shall not be liable for any loss of whatsoever nature, damages, etc. in relation to any such delay in the delivery/distribution and/or receipt of the Prize.
  17. Winners acknowledge and agree that the Prize image shown in the promo and/or on the Aston are not the actual representation/design/likeness of the Prize.
  18. There is no cash alternative to the Prize. The Prize is non-transferable and not saleable.
  19. TEC shall be entitled to use pictures of the winners along with their names on the Channel and/or on the social media and the winners shall have no objection to the same.
  20. TEC accepts no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to the Contest. TEC does not accept responsibility for (a) lost, late or undelivered entries or (b) any technical or access issue, failure, malfunction or difficulty that might hinder the ability of a participant to enter the Contest or (c) any event which may cause the Contest to be disrupted or (d) any entries received after the contest period or (e) any other issues beyond the control of TEC.
  21. Any and all costs, charges, etc. for participation in the Contest shall be borne solely by the participants.
  22. TEC shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any claims, losses, damage, costs or expenses in connection with or arising from the Contest, the participation of the participant in the Contest, the redemption, acceptance or use of the Prizes or inability of the winner to utilize the Prize.
  23. Upon the viewer/ participants/ winners accepting the terms and conditions of the Contest by submitting their details and entries for the Contest, TEC reserves the right to use their image, photograph, name, contact number and likeness in advertising, marketing or promotional material in any medium format being television, digital, print and by any means throughout the world for any purpose connected with the Contest or any other purpose, including but not limited to research purpose, post – promotional activities etc., as per TEC’s sole discretion and the participant grants TEC the right to the same without any objection.
  24. The material sent to TEC including feedback and other communications of any kind as well as submission of an entry to the Contest shall be deemed to be non-confidential. TEC shall be free to reproduce, distribute and publicly display such feedback, materials without limitation or obligation of any kind. TEC is also free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques, if any, contained in such submissions or materials for any purpose.
  25. Each participant understands that each of the officials of TEC engaged in the organization and management of the Contest including its directors, officers, partners, employees, consultants, and agents are under no obligation to render any advice or service to any participant in respect of the Contest.
  26. The participant undertakes to indemnify and keep TEC harmless and indemnified against any loss, damage, claims, costs and expenses which may be incurred or suffered by TEC due to breach of any of the terms and conditions herein contained.
  27. The Contest shall be governed by the laws of India.
  28. Any disputes, differences and/or any other matters in relation to and arising out of the Contest or pertaining to these terms and conditions or the Prize shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai.
  29. These terms and conditions shall be carried out everywhere for the purpose of the Contest.
