We knew this was coming. The way War debuted at the box office, this day was long overdue. As of last Tuesday, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s action film has become the biggest blockbuster of 2019, defeating Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh. As per early estimates, War earned Rs 4.25 crore yesterday which takes the total to 280.65 crore. Kabir Singh had earned Rs 278.24 crore in its entire run. War is now galloping towards the Rs 300 crore club and that will present a lot of firsts. It will mark Hrithik Roshan’s entry in this coveted club. He should have been here earlier but the actor doesn’t believe in doing too many films. It will also have the youngest entrant to the club Tiger Shroff who seems to scoring big numbers with every movie of his. Last year he got his first Rs 100 crore film with Baaghi 2 and this year, War made him a Rs 200 crore star. Next stop will be Rs 300 crore.
